We proudly operate the largest ventilator unit in New Jersey, with 32 certified ventilator beds. A large pair of observation windows allow the nursing staff to monitor patients at a glance, ensuring patients are safe and comfortable at all times. Our spacious resident rooms easily accommodate any required equipment, and patient rooms come complete with piped-in oxygen and vacuum. A multi-function alarm system provides additional resident safety.
Dedicated Staff of Professionals
The vent unit staff consists of three teams, each consisting of one nurse, one respiratory therapist and a certified, vent-trained nurse assistant. All respiratory therapists are board-certified and licensed in the state of New Jersey.

Services
There are a wide variety of services offered by the respiratory therapy team under the direction of our Pulmonologist and physician's assistant. Every effort continues to be made to liberate residents from the ventilator when appropriate. Weaning parameters are performed at the bedside by the respiratory therapist along with pulse oximetry and CO2 capnography to monitor residents' progress. Trach tube changes, downsizing and removal are all performed in-house.
